招標，尤其在政府投建的項目和大公司中最常見，不知飼料企業(yè)為何也搞招標？
飼料廠招標的目的不外乎這幾個：（1）切斷采購人員吃回扣的利益鏈條，獲得低價格和更廣的選擇范圍；（2）可能僅是一場秀，提高知名度；（3）“因為我很大，所以我招標”。即使是企業(yè)招標，類似中標內(nèi)定也很常見，多數(shù)只是陪標，起初大家都摩拳擦掌應標，想一顯身手，最終，大多鎩羽而歸。
飼料廠招標為何會把好產(chǎn)品拒之門外？這是由不當?shù)恼袠瞬少徶贫葲Q定的。招標采購的目的是獲得性價比最好的產(chǎn)品，像類似招標價第二低價者得的招標制度，根本招不到好產(chǎn)品。
往往低價與低質(zhì)聯(lián)系在一起，越是好產(chǎn)品，價格會越高。有些產(chǎn)品的檢測需要較高的技術要求，例如酶制劑，在招標公告上要求木聚糖活性≥100萬單位/Kg，投標產(chǎn)品來了，由于許多飼料企業(yè)缺乏必要的檢測手段，只能看供應商提供的資料，然而，為了中標，供應商出于價格的壓力，降低產(chǎn)品質(zhì)量成為必然。對于技術含量高、檢測方法復雜的產(chǎn)品，一味的追求低價格，肯定招不到好產(chǎn)品。
